At the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association’s (CFTLA) 2024 elections and meeting, the Board of Directors formally presented attorney Michael Bailey with a new award eponymously called the “Mike Bailey Award.” The award is for CFTLA Listserve participation and will henceforth be given annually to the person who has contributed the most to the CFTLA Listserve during the preceding year.
The board wanted to honor Mike, since he has consistently been the CFTLA member who has responded promptly to questions and provided insight on issues on the Association’s Listserve. The award is CFTLA’s way of thanking him for everything he has done for the association and its members throughout the years and remembering the contributions he has made toward its efforts to educate, support and advocate for Central Florida’s trial attorneys and the individuals they represent.
Mike Bailey has won numerous awards throughout his years as a civil trial lawyer. This is the second time an award has been named for him. The Florida Justice Association previously established the annual Michael K. Bailey award in 2015 (see News article of March 22, 2015). Mike is honored by this recognition by the CFTLA and grateful for the opportunity to help other lawyers in Central Florida.
